Alpaca fibre is naturally odour-resistant so does not require require washing often, simply air products out between use and store sweaters away laying flat.

Should the time come you need to wash your sweater, either hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle with delicate detergent in cold water. If using a washing machine, we recommend using a mesh laundry bag to prevent snagging or stretching.

Reshape and lay flat to dry, smoothing out any wrinkles while the garment is still damp.

Not only is alpaca fibre odour-resistant, but it is also stain resistant too. This is due to the glossy scales that make up the outside of each fibre, wicking away liquids before they absorb. Should you stain your sweater, immediately rinse with water and do not rub or wring the garment.
